Rich Companies: Big Wallets, Little Compassion

Are Big Companies Too Greedy To Put Money Towards what REALLY Matters?

Big companies are always coming up with new things; restaurants, stores, yet another brand of shampoo...yes, they may be great, but do we really NEED every single thing they come up with?  I'm here to tell you what I think.

Companies tend to like money.  A LOT.  Which MEANS that they tend to invent new things every day, to make more money.  But are they putting their money towards the wrong things?  I mean, do we REALLY need a thousand different shampoo brands to choose from?  Yes, people have different types of hair, and may need special shampoos, but ONE THOUSAND?  That's a little TOO much if you ask me.  But, companies are hungry for cash, and will do anything to get it.  They will even waste their money spending it on stuff people don't need, than things that actually matter.  Not sure what I'm talking about?  Read on to find out.

While companies are manufacturing all these new products and such, children are starving in Africa.  While companies are opening yet ANOTHER McDonalds in an area that already had 2 other McDonalds, animals are becoming extinct.  I guess what I'm saying is that companies should be putting their money towards people or things that NEED the money, instead of coming up with all these products that we DON'T need.  Like, instead of building yet ANOTHER clothes store, why not give the money you would've put into building the store, to kids starving in Africa, so that they could actually EAT.  Or put the money to cancer research, instead of creating yet ANOTHER toothpaste brand.  But, being a company, C-O-M-P-A-S-S-I-O-N isn't a word you're familiar with, but they ARE very familiar with the word money...oh, and greed.  Yes, that's what I'm calling companies- GREEDY.  They are SO obsessed with money, that all they think about are ways to get it, when they should REALLY be thinking of ways to GIVE it.  I mean, considering all the new gadgets, and products and places and things...they should have at LEAST fed a needy country right now, and they could have KEPT them fed.

I guess what I was trying to say in all that babbling, is that we should STOP making all these useless products we already have enough of, and START trying to spend it on things that matter.

And, if companies are too reluctant to do THAT, (being typical companies, of course) they can at least send some of their profits to people who need it' who are starving, need shelter, are sick...there are so many things that money can be put to good use on, we just need to start doing so!

Thank you for reading!

Sincerely yours,                                                                                                                             Bianca

Animals going into extinction, people in poverty, children starving and dying....why can't companies just stop being greedy for a second and spend some of their money to help some worth causes instead of on some that isn't worth too much and that we don't actually NEED?

By the way, this doesn't apply to ALL companies, so if your company may be unselfish and the opposite of what I described, this isn't directed to you.
